Freeing up storage space

Target the main offenders by sorting by size1 or using an analysis tool like DaisyDisk or Filelight.2

Email isn’t a great place for storage.3 Save attachments to a suitable place and remove them from the emails. macOS’s Mail.app can do this. EagleFiler is good for archiving the emails themselves.

Same goes for media received on a messaging app! This is not permanent storage!4
